Construido en 1992 sobre una antigua finca de caza de 220 hectáreas denominada La Andaya, el campo de golf de Lerma condensa en sus 18 hoyos la grandiosa sencillez de la naturaleza castellana. Un paraje de amplios y luminosos horizontes, de orografía sobria y vegetación poderosa, fácil de caminar y no tanto de negociar a la hora de agarrar los palos cuando el viento decide invitarse al juego, cosa que ocurre dos de cada tres días.
Constructed in 1992 on a former estate of hunt for 220 hectares named The Andaya, Lerma's golf course condenses in its 18 holes the grand simplicity of the Castilian nature, surrounded by holm oaks and oak trees. A place of wide and luminous horizons, of sober orography and powerful vegetation, easy to walk and not so much of negotiating at the moment of seizing the clubs when the wind decides to be invited to the game, thing that happens two of every three days.
“El campo ya está hecho; lo hizo Dios”, afirmó el diseñador Pepe Gancedo, proyectista del campo, cuando reconoció el terreno antes de plasmar en papel lo que hoy es una realidad. Encinas, sabinas y robles salpican los 5.900 metros de sus calles en las que no es infrecuente ver corretear liebres o divisar el vuelo de bandadas de patos y gansos que reposan y se alimentan en alguno de los ocho lagos y dos riachuelos que jalonan el recorrido.
"The course is made; God did it ", affirmed the designer of the course Pepe Gancedo when he recognized the area before drawing what today is a reality. Oaks and sabinas splash 5.900 meters of its fairways in which is frequent to see hares or to spy the flight of flocks of ducks and geese that rest and are fed in someone of eight lakes and two creeks that mark the course.

Desde su inauguración, Lerma ha sido escenario de prestigiosos torneos profesionales y amateurs: PGA European Challenge Tour (1993), Circuito Profesional de Golf de la RFEG (1995, 1996 y 1997), Circuito Profesional Oki Tour (2000), Circuito Profesional Peugeot España (2003 y 2005), Campeonato de España Amateur (1996 y 1998), entre otros. En 2004, Golf Lerma fue escogido entre los 6 campos preferidos por los seniors españoles (Aesgolf) y considerado por la prestigiosa Guía Peugeot de Golf entre los mejores campos europeos con 17 puntos sobre 20.
From its inauguration, Lerma has been a stage of prestigious professional and amateurs tournaments: PGA European Challenge Tour (1993), Professional Circuit of Golf of the RFEG (1995, 1996 and 1997), Professional Circuit Oki Tour (2000), Professional Circuit Peugeot España (2003 and 2005), Championship of Spain Amateur (1996 and 1998), among others. In 2004, Golf Lerma was chosen one of the 6 courses preferred by the Spanish seniors (Aesgolf) and considered by the prestigious Guide Peugeot of Golf among the best European courses by 17 points on 20.
